Sensormatic UltraPost antennas will detect sensors up to 2.5 ft in both directions. To properly protect a single door the Ultra Post should be mounted slightly offet fromt he doorway. 2 antennas will be able to cover up to a 5 feet between antennas and an additional 2.5 feet on the outside of the UltraPosts giving you a total protected area of 10 feet.

The Sensormatic UltraPost uses UltraMax Technology. Place the pedestal on one side of the doorway. Do not keep tagged merchandise near within 6 to 8 feet of the antenna. The antenna may also pick up interference from Sensormatic deactivators that are placed too close (within 8 ft).

Retail security package works with Sensormatic and Sensormatic compatible UltraMax tags. This detection system will not work with Sensormatic Microwave security tags.
