Device Overview

The AMD-3050 SuperTag is a flush-mounted power detacher designed for removing anti-theft tags at point of sale. The device is installed recessed into counter surfaces and requires professional installation by Sensormatic/ADT personnel.

Critical Installation Requirements

1. Installation Location:

- Must maintain 30cm (12in) clearance around tag nest

- Power outlet must be easily accessible

- Position should consider merchandise flow to prevent label reactivation

- Must be at least 8cm from label deactivation area

2. Power Requirements:

- 24VAC transformer required

- Minimum current rating: 1.0A

- Must use country-specific certified power source

- North America: Listed Class 2 or Sensormatic p/n 0650-0618-01

- Other regions: Certified Limited Power Source
