Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026

Retail Security Group Inc. (“RSG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates securitytagstore.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or buy from the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If you have questions, contact us at privacy@securitytagstore.com or 1-888-909-8247.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

·       Identifiers and contact information you give us — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.

·       Order and transaction information — products purchased, order totals, order history, return requests.

·       Payment information — credit/debit card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure form. We do not see or store full card numbers on our servers. We receive a token, the last four digits, the card brand, and the billing ZIP/postal code.

·       Communications — messages you send us through the contact form at /contact, by email, or by phone, including any details you choose to share about your business or installation needs.

·       Automatically collected information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time on site, and similar usage data. Collected through cookies, server logs, and analytics scripts (see Section 5).

2. How we collect it

·       Directly from you when you place an order, create an account, submit the contact form, request a quote, call us, or email us.

·       Automatically when you browse the Site, through cookies and analytics scripts run by us and our service providers.

·       From our service providers (for example, our payment processor confirming a charge, or our shipping carrier confirming delivery).

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

·       Process and fulfill orders, including payment, shipping, returns, and customer support.

·       Quote, schedule, and deliver EAS detection-system installation services.

·       Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form, email, or phone.

·       Send order and shipping notifications.

·       Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

·       Measure how the Site is used and improve it.

·       Run advertising on Google and measure whether those ads result in calls or purchases (see Section 5).

·       Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 7 for how California law treats our advertising-cookie use.

4. Service providers we share information with

We use the following service providers to operate the Site. Each receives only the information needed for their role:

·       Squarespace, Inc. — hosts the Site, processes Site analytics, stores order and customer-account data, and operates the checkout. Squarespace’s privacy practices: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

·       Stripe, Inc. — processes card payments. Card details are transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. Stripe’s privacy practices: https://stripe.com/privacy.

·       Google LLC — Google Ads conversion tracking and (where enabled) Google Analytics. We use Google Ads tag AW-1067450096 to measure which ads led to a purchase or a phone call to 1-888-909-8247. Google’s privacy practices: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

·       United Parcel Service (UPS) — receives shipping addresses to deliver web orders.

·       Email and phone providers — receive contact and inquiry information so we can respond.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, regulator request), to enforce our terms, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or merger of the business.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

·       Strictly necessary — to operate the shopping cart, remember items you’ve added, and keep you signed in to your customer account.

·       Analytics — to understand how the Site is used (page views, traffic sources, popular products). Provided through Squarespace’s built-in analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics.

·       Advertising measurement — to measure whether visits and orders came from a Google Ads click, and to count phone calls to 1-888-909-8247 that resulted from an ad. Operated through Google Ads tag AW-1067450096.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break the shopping cart and account features. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at https://adssettings.google.com/.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no industry-standard response to DNT signals, and we do not currently change our behavior in response to one. You can still use the cookie controls described in Section 5.

7. Your privacy rights

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

·       Know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.

·       Access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.

·       Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, completed transactions we must keep for tax or warranty purposes).

·       Correct inaccurate personal information.

·       Opt out of “sale” or “sharing.” California law defines “sharing” broadly enough that using cookie-based advertising — including the Google Ads tag described in Section 5 — may qualify as “sharing.” To opt out, email privacy@securitytagstore.com with the subject “Do Not Share” and the email address or phone number associated with any inquiry or order.

·       Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a lower-quality product or service because you exercised these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@securitytagstore.com or call 1-888-909-8247. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide against what we hold on file. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf with written authorization.

Other states

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. We honor those requests through the same contact channel.

8. How we protect your information

The Site is served over HTTPS. Payment data is transmitted directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Customer-account and order data are stored on Squarespace’s infrastructure, which maintains its own security program described at https://www.squarespace.com/security. Access to customer records is limited to RSG personnel who need it to do their job.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any required regulators as required by law.

9. How long we keep your information

·       Order records — kept for at least 7 years to satisfy tax, accounting, and warranty obligations.

·       Customer-account information — kept while the account is active and for 2 years after the last activity, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

·       Contact-form submissions — kept for up to 2 years to support follow-up service.

·       Marketing and analytics data — kept according to the retention defaults of Squarespace and Google (typically 14–26 months).

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business buyers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, email privacy@securitytagstore.com and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We do not actively market the Site to residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom. Web orders ship only within the U.S.; international sales are arranged by phone for established accounts.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the Site. The current version is always available at securitytagstore.com/privacy-policy.
