Retail Anti Theft Devices

Retail anti theft devices fall into a few families that work together: EAS detection systems at the door, security tags and labels on the merchandise, ink tags for benefit denial, and the deactivators and detachers your cashiers use at checkout. We stock all of them, new Century and Ketec systems alongside certified refurbished Sensormatic and Checkpoint equipment, and ship from our Boca Raton warehouse. Not sure what your store needs? Call 1-888-909-8247 and talk to a specialist, or build a complete system online in about 60 seconds.

EAS Detection Systems

The backbone of retail theft prevention: pedestals at your entrance that alarm when an active tag or label passes through. Systems run on one of two technologies, AM (58 kHz, the Sensormatic standard) or RF (8.2 MHz, the Checkpoint standard), and every tag you buy afterward has to match. We sell new and refurbished EAS detection systems with the price published on every listing, and if you are starting fresh, here is how to choose between AM and RF. Wide entrance? Check how many pedestals your door width needs.

Security Tags

Hard retail security tags pin through apparel and soft goods and come off only at the register. We stock AM and RF versions, new and refurbished, from standard pencil tags to mini hard tags and specialty formats for shoes, eyewear, and liquor.

Security Labels

Adhesive EAS labels are the workhorse for boxed and packaged goods: stick them on at receiving, deactivate them at the register in the same swipe that scans the barcode. Available for AM and RF systems, plain or barcode printed, in our security tags and labels category.

Ink Tags

Benefit denial in one device: tamper with an ink tag and it permanently stains the garment, which makes stolen goods worthless to resell. Ink tags work on their own or combined with an EAS pin, and they are the cheapest deterrent per garment we sell. Find them under security tags.

Deactivators and Detachers

Checkout equipment closes the loop. Label deactivators switch off adhesive labels at the register, and detachers release hard tags, magnetic for standard tags and powered for SuperTags. We sell both to retail businesses, matched to your system frequency, new and refurbished.

Pins and Lanyards

The small parts that keep a tagging program running: replacement pins and lanyards that fit the hard tags above, in stock by the box.

What a Complete System Looks Like

A working setup is pedestals at the door, tags or labels on every item you want protected, and a deactivator or detacher at each register. Our system builder walks through the four questions that matter, your entrances, door widths, register count, and what you sell, then quotes the whole bundle instantly with installation included. Prices are published on every product page, and refurbished Sensormatic and Checkpoint equipment is certified to manufacturer specs at a fraction of new equipment cost.

Nationwide Installation

We install what we sell, anywhere in the continental US, AM or RF. Read about nationwide EAS installation, or ask about it when you call.
