Start With the Technology

Labels Do the Heavy Lifting

Barcode style labels blend in on packaging, shoppers see a barcode, your pedestals see a security label. See the 400 Series barcode labels (box of 2,000) and the 700 Series.
Plain white labels disappear on white packaging, like the plain white 400 Series.
Small format labels fit cosmetics and pharmacy sized boxes, see the 26mm white 722 Series and the round clear labels.
Hard tags cover the exceptions, a bottle tag for the wine and spirits section and a mini clam tag for seasonal general merchandise.

Every Lane Needs a Deactivator

Labels are not removed at checkout, they are switched off. An RF deactivator pad at each lane kills the label as items are scanned, so protection adds zero seconds to the transaction. Plan one per open lane from day one, that is the difference between a system cashiers love and one they fight.

Wide Entrances Are the Grocery Challenge

Grocery doors are wide, cart lanes are wider, and pedestal count has to match or thieves simply walk around the coverage.
